Worship
We gather weekly to experience the Word of God through scripture, liturgy, and music; to receive God’s grace in the Sacrament of Holy Communion; and to pray for one another, the community, and the world. Our Worship Committee works together to plan meaningful worship experiences for every season of the Church year.
Mission & Outreach
As a community of faith, we are called to partner with the community in love and grace. Our Mission and Outreach committee does this through coordination of noisy offerings and God’s Work Our Hands, which provide our congregation with ways to serve our community through prayer, gifts, and service.
Stewardship
As people called by God to be stewards of the earth and all that God has given to us, we strive to care for the earth through partnership with environmental ministries, a commitment to recycling and using our resources wisely. Our Stewardship committee takes a leadership role in education on stewardship of the planet and works to inspire each of us to give as a response to the gifts God has first given us.
Youth and Families
Jesus said, “let the little children come” and it is in that spirit that we welcome children of all ages into our worship experience. We have two play areas outside of the sanctuary for kids to play, as well as activity bags that include sensory objects for kids to use in worship. We work to include kids in the life of the church and as we grow, our family ministry will continue to grow with us.
Our Mission Statement
Centered in Christ, the Good Shepherd, we WORSHIP with JOY, EMBRACE with LOVE, EQUIP for WITNESS and SERVICE.
